Add YouTube Videos to my profile (Streamers only)

If you are a Streamer, you can display your latest YouTube video on your Connect profile by adding your YouTube Channel ID.

Find your YouTube Channel ID

1. Sign in to YouTube.
2. In the top right, click your profile picture  Settings .
3. From the left menu, select Advanced settings.
4. You’ll see your channel’s user and channel IDs.
   • You must be signed in as the channel’s primary owner to see this info.

Add YouTube Channel ID to your Connect profile

1. Open the Connect app on your mobile device.
2. Sign in with your streamer account.
3. Head to your profile by tapping the icon in the top right corner of the home screen and then tap “View Profile.”
4. In your profile, find and select the “Edit Profile” button.
5. Scroll down until you find the field titled “YouTube Channel ID.”
6. Enter your YouTube Channel ID in this field.

Once you’ve entered your YouTube Channel ID, be sure to review the information you entered to verify that it is correct. View your own profile to make sure your latest YouTube video is displaying correctly.

Troubleshooting & Tips

• If the video doesn’t appear, check that you’ve entered your YouTube Channel ID correctly and that your YouTube channel is set to allow integration with external apps.
• Automatic updates: Once set up, your Connect profile will automatically update to always show your most recent YouTube video.
• Privacy: Make sure the videos on your YouTube channel are not set to private, as private videos will not show up on your Connect profile.
• Not seeing the YouTube Channel ID field in “Edit Profile”? You need to be a verified Streamer to have this feature enabled. Please get in touch with us if you’d like to be recognised as a Streamer on the Connect app.
