Is chat encrypted?

Yes, our chat functionality is built on an encrypted platform.

Is group chat supported?

Yes, as of version 1.2.5 (July 2024).

• You can manually create a Group Chat with players in your Connections network. Go to Chat > + icon > follow the prompts to create your group and add people
• Group Chat is automatically created for players joining the same game. And there is a link to it via the bottom of the Game event listing.

Useful tips

• Any Group Chats you’re participating in will automatically appear in “Chat” area of the app.
• You can leave a Group Chat at any time via the hamburger menu in the chat > Settings
• You can mute chat notifications via the hamburger menu in any chat > Mute
• Game related Group Chats auto-close 2 days after the scheduled game
• Group Chat has one administrator (the person who created the group manually, or the game host) who can manage group members, group name, and group avatar via the hamburger menu in the chat > Settings.
