Join a game

In the Connect app

1. Browse upcoming games from the Home screen of the app. Games are listed by date/time, so you will see the next upcoming games at the top of the list.
2. Click or tap on the event you’re interested in to see more details.
3. Tap “Join” to send the host a request to join the game.  Some hosts might request specific details to assess your suitability for the event.
4. The host will review your request and decide whether to accept or decline.
5. Keep an eye on notifications or messages for updates on your event request. You can also check the status on the game button: Accepted | Full | Rejected | Pending
6. Prepare for the Event: If your request is approved, ensure you’re ready for the event at the scheduled date and time.
7. If you change your mind or can’t make it, you can withdraw your application from the event by tapping on “Withdraw” button.

It’s game time!

At the scheduled date/time you need to join the game on your console.

1. Get comfy, turn on your console, heat up Call of Duty!
2. Launch the game and log in.
3. Wait until the hosts send the friend request. Or add the host to your friend list.
4. Access the ‘Add Friends’ tab in the game’s menu.
5. Manually, enter their unique Activision IDs in the provided space and send them game invitations from the ‘Add Friends’ menu. The Activision IDs can be found in their profiles in the App CONNECT.
6. They will receive notifications and can accept your invitation.
7. Once your friend have accepted the invitations, gather in the game and begin your scheduled gaming session together.
